Lucknow: 4800 new records of Corona were registered in UP on Saturday. This is by far the largest number of corona infections in 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 47 people died of corona in UP.
According to information received from the Health Department, there are currently 46177 active corona cases in the state, 69833 corona patients have been discharged and 2028 people have died. So far, a total of 1,18,038 cases of Corona have been registered in the state.
Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that 88,21,000 people have been identified in 14,64,244 houses in total 10015 hot spots in the state. In these hot spots, 38739 people have been identified and 18951 of them have been sent to Institutional Quarantine. He told that in testing we are behind only one state Tamil Nadu which is ahead of us 2 lakh tests.
