New Delhi: Health Ministry Joint Secretary Luv Aggarwal said that the rate of doubling of the Covid-19 case was 3 days before the lockdown. But the data for the last 7 days shows that it has been 6.2 days. He said that the growth rate of the number of Covid-19 infected has dropped by 40 percent.

The average growth so far this month has been 1.2 per cent, while the growth rate of 2.1 per cent was seen between 15 March and 31 March. At the same time, the ratio between recovery patient and death is 80:20. Which is much better than other countries.

He said that in the last 24 hours, a total of 1,007 new cases of corona have been reported, while 23 people died. This was said in his daily press conference on Friday by the Ministry of Health. Health Ministry Joint Secretary Love Aggarwal said that corona cases in the country have increased to 13,387. While 437 people have lost their lives due to this virus.

He said that the rate of cases of Kovid-19 doubling in 19 states and union territories is less than the national average. Also giving information on Rapid Endobody Test Kit, it said that 5 lakh Rapid Antibody Test Kits are being distributed to the states right now.
