New Delhi: Indian Railways has also started work amidst preparations of various ministries regarding the risk of coronavirus epidemic. Railways have started preparing isolation coaches in the train to fight the coronavirus. In case of future corona infection, these railway coaches can be used to isolate suspects or patients. Coronavirus cases are increasing continuously in the country. So far, the number of people infected with this virus has increased to 873. At the same time, 19 people have lost their lives by this virus. Now the big question is whether there is a preparation for face 3. Are things going to get worse.
Each cabin has been separate with proper plywood covering and every patient area has medical-grade plastic curtains to give the coach the look of a proper isolation ward.
Two of the four toilets have been converted into bathrooms. The middle berth on one side in each cabin has been removed. The lower berth there will act as the patient bed. It is envisaged that each coach will comfortably hold around 10 patients. All the other three berths opposite the patient berth have been removed.

There are cabins for a doctor as well as the medical staff. More electrical sockets for medical instruments, more bottle holders to act as holders of intravenous drip stands etc have been provided.
