Maharashtra extends lockdown till 30 April

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has decided to extend the lockdown to 30 April to prevent corona virus infection. The Maharashtra government took this decision after a meeting of the Chief Ministers of the states with the Prime Minister. On increasing the lockdown, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that the condition in the state is very critical.

Uddhav Thackeray said that I appeal to all people to stay at home and get out only when necessary. I have told the Prime Minister that the lockdown will continue in Maharashtra even after April 14 and it will continue till April 30. The state will show the way to the country even in these difficult times.

CM Uddhav Thackeray said that the patients who died due to Kovid-19 in Maharashtra were suffering from many diseases and came to the hospital in the last phase. Along with this, he said that out of about one thousand patients infected with corona virus found in Mumbai, 60 to 70 percent have mild symptoms of infection.
