New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated three new Labs of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in Noida, Kolkata and Mumbai through video conferencing. Along with the Union Health Minister, Dr. Harshvardhan, the Chief Ministers of the three states – UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee were also present.
PM Modi said that UP, Maharashtra and West Bengal will benefit greatly from the Corona whose Hitech Testing Lab is inaugurated today. The capacity of 10000 tests is going to be increased from these labs. He said, “In addition to corona, testing facilities for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV Dengue etc. will also be provided in these labs.”
PM Modi said that India is more stable than other countries due to the right decision taken at the right time. Today, deaths from corona in our country are less than in many countries. The recovery rate in our country is higher than other countries.
