If Corona cases continue to increase, then lockdown will have to be imposed: Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai: Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, addressing the public on the rising cases of Corona in Maharashtra, appealed to strictly follow the rules of Corona, as well as banning crowded movements. Giving an eight-day ultimatum for the lockdown, Chief Minister Uddhav said that even after this, if the people do not follow the rules then the state may face a lockdown.

Addressing the public, the Chief Minister said, “In view of the increasing cases of Covid-19, all political, religious and social gathering will be stopped in the state from Monday. Thackeray also said in his televised address that the political movement will not be allowed for the next few days as it gathers crowds. ”

He said, “The epidemic is raising its head in the state, but whether it is another wave it will be known in eight to 15 days.” “Lockdown may not be the solution for covid-19, but it is the only option to break the virus cycle,” he said.
