Meerut: Covid destroyed many people’s life. This epidemic gave such wounds to people that they would not be able to forget this sorrow for the rest of their life. Corona virus is constantly changing its form. Now the new Delta variant is a cause for concern. This concern has increased after the death of 2 people in Madhya Pradesh due to this new variant. More than 200 cases of Delta variant have been found in the country. Similar symptoms of the delta variant have been found in four people from Meerut in UP. The administration has now sent their samples to the Delhi lab for genome sequencing.
The graph of Covid cases in Meerut has fallen sharply. But the danger is not over yet. People will have to follow the Covid rules properly, otherwise the situation may get out of control. When Meerut’s CMO Dr. Akhilesh was talked about this matter, he said that samples of four people of Kharkhoda area have been sent to Delhi, although the chances seem very less but it is necessary to take precaution. People still should not assume that the threat of Covid is averted.
Meerut DM K Balaji told Buzinessbytes that samples have to be sent to Delhi or other places for genome sequencing. But if the lab is build in Meerut itself, then reports will be available easily and in less time. For this, a proposal has been sent to the government to build a lab with Rs 2 crore.
