New Delhi: Corona virus is spreading rapidly in the country. Meanwhile, four MLAs of DMK, the main opposition party in the state of Tamil Nadu, who came second in the list of Corona affected states, have been stirred up after the Corona report came out positive. A total of 16 public representatives have been affected by the Corona virus so far in the state.
Among DMK MLAs, Karthikeyan of Vellore, R.P. of Ranipet, Thitakudi’s Ganesan and Krishnagiri’s T. Senguttan came back positive, all have been admitted to the hospital after reports from Gandhi. All these showed symptoms of corona virus like fever, cough and body ache. The number of Corona-positive MLAs from the state, including these four MLAs, has increased to 16, including four ministers. All the infected legislators, including ministers, opted to be admitted to private hospitals instead of government hospitals and criticized that it lacked confidence in state facilities.
Earlier in June, Tamil Nadu’s main opposition party DMK MLA J Anabargan was killed due to corona virus infection. He was admitted to a hospital in Chennai after complaining of breathlessness. 62-year-old Jay Unbadagan was counted among the top leaders of the DMK.
Tamil Nadu has so far reported 1.70 lakh corona virus cases in which 1.17 lakh patients have been cured or discharged and 2,481 people have lost their lives so far.
