Lucknow: 163 more people have died during the last 24 hours in Uttar Pradesh in which COVID-19 is infected and 29754 new patients have confirmed the infection. According to the Bulletin released by the Health Department on Tuesday, 163 more Covid-19 infected people died in the state during the last 24 hours. With this, the death toll in the state crossed 10 thousand to 10159.
The maximum number of 28 deaths occurred in this period in Kanpur city. Apart from this, 19 patients died in Lucknow, 13 in Prayagraj, eight in Gautam Buddha Nagar, seven each in Varanasi and Jhansi, five each in Etawah and Chandauli.
According to the bulletin, Covid-19 infection has been confirmed in 29754 new patients in the state during the last 24 hours. According to the bulletin, the maximum number of 5014 new patients has been found in the capital Lucknow. In addition, 2175 in Prayagraj, 1740 in Kanpur Nagar, 1637 in Varanasi, 1287 in Meerut, 940 in Ghazipur and 913 new patients in Bareilly have confirmed Covid-19 infection.
According to the bulletin, 223544 patients are currently being treated in the state, so far 909405 people have been confirmed of Covid-19 infection in the state, out of which 675702 have been completely cured.
