Chennai: Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan today said that within the next few days, the countrymen will soon start receiving Covid-19 vaccines. In Chennai, he said that in the meantime, the government has ensured that every detail of the vaccination program is taken from the national level to the grassroots. The Union Health Minister again reiterated that vaccines will be provided to the health worker and frontline worker in the first phase.
The Union Minister will review the dry run in different parts of Chennai today. He is scheduled to visit Omanandur Hospital, Apollo Hospital and Chengalpattu in the city. Today, a dry run is being organized at three-session sites in 736 districts of 33 states / union territories of the country. Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh will not participate in this campaign because they have already gone through it.
