New Delhi: The number of corona virus cases in India is increasing steadily. As of 11 am today, 97 new cases have been reported from across the country. After this, total cases of infection have increased to 1713 from Kovid-19 so far. According to the website www.covid19india.org, out of these 1516 active cases are still being treated, 150 infected people have been sent home after treatment, while 50 people have died of corona.
Sixteen more COVID-19 cases have been reported in Mumbai and two more cases from Pune, taking the total number of cases in the state to 320.
Maharashtra tops the list of states which have been affected the most by the virus with 320 positive cases.
Four more fresh coronavirus positive cases were reported from Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.
This takes the total number of those infected with the deadly virus in Andhra Pradesh to 44.
The district administration said the COVID-19 positive tested persons attended the Markaz meeting in New Delhi.
With 8 new COVID-19 positive cases, Gujarat‘s tally has reached 82. However, as of now, only three patients are on ventilator support, informed the state Health Department on Wednesday.
