
Mumbai: Coronavirus continues to wreak havoc in the country despite the lockdown. More than 1 lakh 12 thousand people have been infected with Corona in India, while more than 3400 people have died so far. Meanwhile, in Maharashtra, the worst affected state of Corona, its infected figures have crossed 40 thousand. Health officials said that 2345 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours in Maharashtra and the number of infected people has reached 41,642. At the same time, the number of infected people has crossed 25 thousand with 1382 new cases of corona in Mumbai.
On the other hand, 47 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported on Thursday in Dharavi, Asia’s biggest slum, which increased the total cases there to 1425. The official said that no patient has died in Dharavi due to infection in the last 24 hours. Therefore, the death toll is 56. The official said that out of 47 new cases, maximum six cases have come from Matunga Labor Camp, followed by five cases from Mukund Nagar area.
