The total number of positive cases in the country has now risen to 74,281 including 47,480 active cases, 24386 fine / discharge / migrated cases and 2,415 deaths.
Maharashtra is most affected by Corona. The number of patients in the state has gone above 25 thousand. One-third of the country’s corona patients are in this state alone. The total number of patients here has reached 25,922 and 975 people have lost their lives. In the last 24 hours, 1495 new cases have been reported and 54 people have died. However, it is a matter of relief that about 22% of corona patients in the state have fully recovered and have gone home and till now the number of patients who have fully recovered from this disease has been 5,547.
The most worrying situation is in Mumbai city, the country’s financial capital. Here 60 percent of the corona patients of the state are in Mumbai city alone. The total number of patients has reached 15,747 and so far 596 people have died of corona. Talking about the slum Dharavi, the infection of Covid-19 has been confirmed in 66 more people and cases have increased to 1028. The death toll has increased from 31 to 40. The first case of infection was reported on April 1 in Dharavi.
In the country’s capital Delhi, 20 people died in one day due to corona infection. With this, the death toll due to Covid-19 has crossed 100. So far 106 people have lost their lives due to corona virus. Apart from this, 359 new cases have also come out. Now the number of patients infected with the corona virus has reached close to 8 thousand. A total of 7998 positive cases have been confirmed so far.
