However, according to data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of corona-positive cases across the country has risen to 85,940, of which 53,035 are active, 30,153 have become healthy or have been discharged from hospital and 2,752 people have died.
Number of infected in Maharashtra crosses 30 thousand
Maharashtra has so far confirmed 30,706 cases of corona and 1,135 people have lost their lives. 1606 new cases have been reported in 24 hours and 67 people have died. In Mumbai alone, 884 cases have been reported in 24 hours and 41 have died. So far, 696 people have lost their lives.
