New Delhi: With the detection of 1057 new cases of Covid-19 in Gujarat, the number of corona virus infected on Saturday increased to 10989. At the same time, after the 1606 new cases of covid-19 infection in Maharashtra, the number of infected people reached 30706. The death toll reached 1135 with the death of 67 patients.
Gujarat Principal Secretary (Health Jayanti) Ravi said that 19 more people have died due to corona virus infection in the state. Due to this, the death toll of Corona virus infection in the state has increased to 625.
On Saturday, 884 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Mumbai, raising the total number of infected people in the city to 18396, while the death toll has risen to 696 with 41 more deaths. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that on Saturday, 238 patients were discharged from hospital after recovering. So far, 4806 patients have been cured out of a total of 18396 cases.
The BMC also said that 41 people died on Saturday while 14 people died between May 7 and May 12. There are 26 men and 15 women among those who died. 24 out of 41 patients were also suffering from other diseases. The age of two is less than 40 years, while the age of 27 was more than 60 years while the age of 12 was between 40 and 60 years.
