New Delhi: After the arrival of 44,111 new cases of corona in the last 24 hours in the country, the total number of positive cases has increased to 3,05,02,362. Also, after 738 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the total number of deaths has increased to 4,01,050. Apart from this, after 57,477 new discharges, the total number of discharges has gone up to 2,96,05,779.
At the same time, the total number of active cases in the country is 4,95,533. In the last 24 hours, 43,99,298 vaccines of coronavirus have been administered in the country, after which the total number of vaccinations has increased to 34,46,11,291. The Health Ministry said on Saturday that less than 5 lakh active cases have been registered in the country after 97 days. Active cases of coronavirus are 1.62 percent of the total cases. The recovery rate has increased to 97.06 percent and the daily positivity rate is 2.35 percent.
On the other hand, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that 18,76,036 sample tests were done for coronavirus in India on Friday. Also said that till Friday a total of 41,64,16,463 sample tests have been done.
