In intraday, the Sensex again crossed the 50 thousand mark and strengthened to the level of 50,058. Last week, the GDP data on Friday has been showing optimism about the economy, due to which the market sentiment has strengthened. Currently, the Sensex has gained 750 points at the end of trading and closed at the level of 49,849.84.

In today’s trade, 29 stocks of Sensex 30 have seen a boom. Powergrid and ONGC have seen an increase of about 6 percent. Ultratech Cement, Asian Paints, Kotak Bank, Titan Company, HDFC, HCL Tech, Maruti and Tech Mahindra are among today’s top gainers. Today there is more than 4 per cent decline in Airtel.
