Steep decline in retail inflation

New Delhi: There has been a lot of relief news for the central government amid the ongoing farmers’ agitation regarding agricultural laws. There has been a big fall in retail inflation in the country. According to the data released by the Government of India on Tuesday, the retail inflation, which was 6.93 percent in November, has fallen to 4.59 percent in December.

According to data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, the number of Industrial Production Index (IIP) in November 2020 is 126.3, which is 1.9% lower than in November 2019.
