Shivraj government increased working hours in the factory from 8 hours to 12 hours

Bhopal: Shops in Madhya Pradesh will be open from 6 am to 12 pm. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that with a view to avoid congestion in the markets, the time of opening of shops in the state will be from 6 am to 12 pm instead of 8 to 10 in the morning. Notification for this has been issued. The duration of work in factories has been increased from 8 hours to 12 hours. Factory owners will now be able to change shifts themselves.

Workers will now be able to do overtime 72 hours a week. Notification for this has been issued. Registration will now be done in one day instead of 30 days. The renewal rule has been abolished, now registration will be done only once and that too will be online. Labor laws have been amended to deal with the economic crisis arising out of Corona in Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan informed about the changes in labor laws through Facebook Live. The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to take such innovative initiative to give impetus to closed economic activities. Labor laws have been amended to provide necessary concessions to industries after the Corona crisis and to create an atmosphere of cooperation between factory owners and workers.
