Sensex and Nifty flat closed on last day of the year

On the last day of the year, the stock market set a new record. In today’s trade, the Nifty crossed 14000 for the first time. At the same time, the Sensex also crossed the 47850 level. The stock market started in the realm, but later the buying increased. There was flat closing at the end of the business. In today’s business, the market gained support in fast pharma and realty shares. While the bank shares increased the pressure on the market. At the end of trading, the Sensex ended with a gain of 5 points at 47,751. At the same time, the Nifty also closed at the level of 11982 without any change. HDFC and Sun Pharma are top gainers of today. While UltraTech Cement and TCS have been today’s top losers. Talking about global signals, the major US markets gained momentum on Wednesday. The Dow Jones closed on the new record. Today, there has been a mixed trend in Asian markets.

In today’s trade, 11 stocks of Sensex 30 have been rising, 19 have closed in red mark. Top gainers include HDFC, Sun Pharma, ICICI Bank, Asian Paints, Dr Reddy’s, Infosys and Titan Company. While the top losers include Ultratech Cement, TCS, Airtel, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank and Bajaj Finance.

In today’s trade, 6 of the 11 major Nifty indices have closed in the green mark. If the realty index has strengthened more than 1 percent, then the bank index has fallen by about half a percent. Metal and pharma indices have strengthened by more than half a percent. Auto and financial indices closed in green mark while FMCG and IT index closed in red mark.
