Everyone has to have a Aadhaar card nowadays to avail of different services that are offered by the government in the country. As Aadhaar card has been asked for linking with PAN card, our bank accounts, filing our income tax returns and even nowadays Aadhaar card has been listed as one of the identification proof to register on the COWIN website to get vaccine slots against the coronavirus disease.
Aadhaar has become an important document in everyone’s lives and in order to ensure that the online portal of UIDAI where the facilities are given to the users to update their Aadhaar card details become more user-friendly and accessible, a new update on the mAadhaar app has been launched. The updated version of the app has 35 online services related to Aadhaar and can be now availed from the convenience of our homes.
On social media, UIDAI mentioned the new updated related to the app along with sharing its links to the iOS Apple Store and Google Play Store. In a different tweet, UIDAI requested users to uninstall the previous versions of the app and install the latest app that has the new updates.
Interestingly, the app now comes in 13 different languages, which include English, and Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
The services of the mAadhaar app are categorized into three important tabs – ‘The Main Service Dashboard’, ‘Request Status Services’, and the ‘My Aadhaar’ section.
Moreover, the ‘Enrolment Centre Section’ on the app, is a combined advantage that lets users locate the nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre.
