LPG cylinder becomes cheaper 162 rupees

The LPG cylinder price has been cut for the third consecutive month amid Corona virus lockdown. Oil marketing companies have drastically cut the price of LPG cylinders by 162.50 on 1 May. After this cut, the price of 14.2 kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder in Delhi is now Rs 581.50.

According to a report, petroleum marketing companies are distributing 5-6 million cylinders per day. These include about 18 lakh free cylinders for Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMUY) beneficiaries. Cylinder delivery workers have been labeled corona fighters of the crisis.

The statement of the oil companies said that the lockdown was going on in the country. Most people are locked in their homes. In such a situation, gas agencies and hundreds of their delivery men are engaged in supplying LPG cylinders to their homes without interruption.
