The prices of cooking gas used in Indian households has been increased in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and some others areas. The prices of CNG- compressed natural gas and piped natural gas – PNG both have been raised by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL).
The new prices will come into effect from today, March 24. The price hike of cooking gas comes in tow of raise in the LPG prices by oil companies.
The cost of CNG in Delhi is now ₹59.01/kg and PNG will now cost ₹36.61/Standard Cubic Meter or SCM.

While in Noida the new CNG cost is ₹61.58/kg and PNG will cost ₹35.86/ SCM, an increase of ₹1/SCM. These prices will also be for Greater Noida and Ghaziabad regions.
For consumers in Gurugram, CNG will now be available for ₹67.37/kg and PNG price will be sold at ₹34.81/SCM.
In Rewari CNG has been priced at ₹69.48/kg while PNG will be sold at ₹35.42/SCM.
₹ 67.68 per kg is the new cost of CNG in Karnal and Kaithal and PNG will be sold at ₹35.42/SCM.
People in Muzzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli will have to shell out ₹ 66.26 for one kg of CNG and ₹39.37/SCM of PNG.
The cost of CNG in Kanpur, Fatehpur and Hamirpur will now be ₹70.82/kg and PNG will be available for ₹38.50/SCM. Consumers in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand can get CNG for ₹69.31/Kg.
IGL has said that consumers can avail an incentive of ₹15 by using self-billing option through the IGL Connect Mobile App.
Earlier LPG cylinder cost was increased by Rs 50 and the prices of petrol and diesel have also risen after more than 135 days. The reason behind the hikes is the global increase in prices due to the Russia- Ukraine war.

The supply of fuels is under threat and prices are rising all over the world. As 85% of oil is imported by India, the domestic fuel prices in the country are directly dependent on the international oil prices.
