New Delhi: The trend of electric vehicles in the country is increasing rapidly. In this episode, on 23 February, Amazon India announced a partnership with Mahindra Electric. Under this partnership, Amazon India has connected Mahindra Electric’s EV to its delivery network. The leading e-commerce company has linked around 100 Mahindra Treo Zor EVs to its delivery network in seven major cities of the country as part of the partnership, ie these electric vehicles will deliver products. According to the information given by the company, Mahindra Treo Zor has been connected to the network in Bangalore, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Indore and Lucknow. These vehicles have been deployed in the delivery service partners network of Amazon India.

Last year in 2020, Amazon India announced that it would add about 10,000 electric vehicles to its delivery network. According to e-commerce company Amazon, by the year 2025, about 10,000 electric vehicles will be included in its delivery network. These vehicles are different from the announcement under which Amazon has shown a commitment to add 1 lakh electric trains to its delivery network across the world by 2030.

The 8-kilowatt power Treo Zor has a weight of 550 kg. It was launched in October 2020 and has an advanced lithium-ion battery.
