Shah Rukh Khan’s latest outing Jawan has been rocking the box office like anything. The film also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. It refuses to show slowing signs at the box office despite being released for more than two weeks.

The film directed by Atlee makes a big noise at the ticket window. Shah Rukh recently engaged with his fans on X through an #AskSRK session. A fan asked the actor if he has philanthropic ideas now as the film has been declared a blockbuster. For this question, Shah Rukh Khan replied that he would show everyone the film with whom their partners and Meer Foundation work.

He claimed that being an entertainer, he will be most satisfied if he can make everyone smile. He replied to the fan that he was just telling his company Red Chillies Entertainment and thanked the fan for the idea.
When another fan asked him about the Meer Foundation and mentioned that not everyone knows about his support of social causes, he wrote on X, “I think we are moving in the right direction and helping as many as we can to lead a happier life. No need to talk about that. But very excited I have just told them to show the film #Jawan to all NGOs this week. All over. Somebody just gave me that idea so feeling happy.”
And guess what, Shah Rukh indeed fulfilled his promise. His NGO Meer Foundation organized special screenings of Jawan for underprivileged individuals. The foundation’s members shared on social media that almost 3,000 less-privileged people have watched Jawan. Many people from the group said that it was their first time experience to watch a movie in a theatre.
“Lights, camera, compassion! Meer Foundation proudly presented Mr. Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ movie to over 20 NGOs across the nation. They joined us in celebrating this cinematic journey of love and support.
Making people smile is what he does best. We’re always, ‘Good to go, chief!’” said the NGO on social media.
Jawan has created another record at the global box office. The film has made a total box office collection of more than Rs 953 crore after its release all over the world. Gauri Khan, who has co-produced the film, shared on Instagram Stories, “Victory like never before.”
If the numbers continue then the film will surely and steadily achieve the milestone of creating a worldwide box office record of Rs. 1,000 crores. In India, the film has made a box office record of Rs. 532 crores so far. The film was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages on 7 September 2023 in the theatres. Besides the trio, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, and Sunil Grover have important parts in the movie. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt also make special cameos in the action thriller.
Atlee while addressing the media said that he was fortunate to have a request from SRK to make a film for him and he gave his best to the film and the results are being seen now.
