Sara wrote a caption with her Reel, “Jai Baba Barfani,” which also had emojis of joining hands, a mountain, and a trident. The Reel directed the viewers that she was on her yatra to the Amarnath temple in the valley. She said in the video, “Namaste darshako. Humari Amarnath yatra ab prarambh ho chuki hai. Bahut sare yatri aaye hain darshan karne. Wo rahi Amarnath ki gufa. Toh chalo karte hain humari yatra bhi. Thank you ji”. It meant that her Amarnath trip had started and she was going with many devotees there. The video also showed Amarnath cave. She also mentioned in the video her chants of ‘Har Har Mahadev.’

Gurpurab Special: Amazing things about Golden Temple

Sara’s debut movie Kedarnath’s song ‘Namo Namo’ was played as a background score. In the film, Sara played the role of a Hindu devotee who falls in love with a Muslim pitthu who takes her to the temple in the pilgrim state of Kedarnath.

Sara received many praises for her secular beliefs while others debated on how she is using all her spiritual visits to Hindu pilgrimages as a publicity gimmick. This is not the first time that Bollywood actors are criticized for promoting secularism.

In the past also, when Bollywood biggies like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were a part of functions of Hindu culture, there was a lot of criticism from different sections of society who were of the opinion that Muslims should worship only their Gods and not be a part of other religious functions.

However, we live in India, which is the most secular country in the world. India has so many communities and languages that people of all faiths get to celebrate their festivals with fun and fervor. Also, Hinduism is such a broader concept than religion that people think they are aware of everything about it. Hinduism is practiced all over India with the majority of the population being followers of the religion.

Meanwhile, Sara has a list of upcoming movies in the coming 2-3 years. She has releases lined up like Zara Hatke Zara Bach Ke, Ae Watan Mere Watan, Murder Mubarak, Metro In Don, and Nakhrewali, among others.

Sara Ali Khan is the most sought-after actress after her successful releases like Kedarnath, Simmba, Coolie No. 1, among others. She is not only admired by the younger generation for her beautiful looks but also her acting skills are applauded by critics alike. Coming from a filmy background- her parents being Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Sara has ensured to take up interesting film projects in her career so far. Although there is debate on nepotism in Bollywood, few actors really make their parents proud after they notch up their acting skills.
