Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal would have been husband and wife by now, it not for the lockdown that has been imposed across the country owing to the COVID-19 pandemic that has been claiming lives all across the globe. The Fukrey stars had registered themselves for marriage in March and were looking forward to being man and wife by April but soon lockdown was brought into effect by the government. While Richa is in Mumbai, Ali is in Delhi. The two lovers are keeping in touch via video calling. Recently, Richa opened up on her wedding plans and how she was called an anti-national on asking as to when the lockdown would end.
Richa Chadha revealed her wedding plans. It as supposed to be an extravagant wedding spread across Lucknow-Mumbai and Delhi. The Goliyon Ki RasleelaRamleela actress has been in lockdown at her home in Mumbai and is missing her fiancee and due to that she went on to ask when would the lockdown end so she would be near to her fiancee. ““I was called an anti-national on Twitter for asking when the lockdown would end. Now, we will take a call only when normalcy returns,” Richa told Mumbai Mirror.
Ali Fazal and Richa were planning their wedding together on their own and she opened up on the same saying, “Ali and I were organising everything ourselves. The invites were yet to be sent out, but we had finalised other things, which had to be cancelled.” even though we had discussed it before.”
