Filmmaker Karan Johar organized a live session on Instagram where he spoke to social media users. Karan spoke about his work and he also gave a befitting reply to trollers who criticized the first episode of Karan’s new show i.e. Koffee With Karan Season 8. The first episode of the new show had Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. However, the adorable couple got mixed reactions to their statements.
During the conversation, Karan shared that he is aware of all the discussions around the episode that featured Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Karan addressed the trollers with a message, “Do what you need to do because no one’s looking.” Karan also shared that no one is hearing the people who are attacking them in the form of trolls.

Karan responded, “Trolling gets you nowhere. You are landing nowhere.” He also mentioned that he is going to make certain changes in the upcoming episodes of his new show. He also noted that he takes only the constructive criticism that is shared on social media.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone spoke in detail about their bonding and married life in the show. Deepika shared that she wanted to be single for a while as she had come from challenging relationships in the past. She said that she underwent a stage where she said that she doesn’t want to be attached or committed to one relationship. She also mentioned how she had fun but until Ranveer proposed to her, she didn’t commit herself to the relationship. There was no commitment involved and even after seeing other people, Ranveer and Deepika would simply keep coming back to each other.
Later in Koffee With Karan Season 8, Deepika asked Ranveer about her suitors. This annoyed Ranveer who said that “Abhi toh tumne bola I was seeing other people but I would go back to him. Tumko ab yaad nahi aa raha hai (Just a few minutes ago you said you were seeing other people and now you can’t remember)?” “I can’t remember the people,” Deepika responded. “I remember very clearly,” Ranveer said in a cold voice.
When Ranveer spoke about how he met Deepika. The internet accused him of “repurposing” his own story about meeting ex-girlfriend Anushka Sharma for Deepika. For the first time, Deepika and Ranveer shared their marriage video in the episode.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been married to each other since November 2018 after dating for a while. They complete five years of their married life in 2023. Ranveer and Deepika have worked together in movies like Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, and 83. Earlier this year, there were rumors floating on the internet about their alleged divorce or separation. However, the duo appeared on the show and have put all the rumors to rest.
It will be interesting to see who will be the next guests on the Koffee with Karan season 8. There are speculations that Sunny Deol will appear in the show with his brothers. But nothing has been confirmed yet. So, let us wait and watch!
