Last month when it was announced that Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh will be playing the lead role in Don 3, it shocked everyone. Particularly fans of Shah Rukh Khan were dumbfounded when they got to know that Ranveer has replaced SRK in the third part of Don movie series.

After a month, now Farkhan Akhtar has clarified that he and Shah Rukh have parted ways amicably and it is for the best of both parties. It was purely due to creative differences that the actor-director duo were not working together for Don 3. You might be aware of how Akhtar had directed Shah Rukh in Don 1 and Don 2.

Farhan Akhtar was in discussion with Variety when he announced that he and Shah Rukh Khan could not find any common ground and thus, have gone separate ways for Don 3.
Farhan said that he is not really in a position to replace anyone. These are the things that have been discussed over the years and he wanted to take a certain route with the story. However, he and SRK couldn’t be on the same page for Do 3. Thus, it was decided to part mutually knowing that it was possibly for the best.
Farhan further informed how Ranveer Singh is super enthusiastic about the movie and added that he is also excited to be working with Ranveer. Ranveer is so charged and so ready to go, said Farhan who also added that Don 3 will be a huge film and they are excited to be working with energetic actor Ranveer Singh.
Last month it was Farhan who released a teaser of Don 3 guaranteeing that Ranveer is recreating the new Don. The teaser opened in an apartment against a stunning skyline of a city, with Ranveer Singh’s voiceover going, “Sher jo so raha hain woh jagega kab, puchte hai yeh sab. Unse keh do phir jaag utha hoon main, aur phir samne jald aane ko…”
Ranveer is spotted wearing statement shades, smoking a cigarette, and wielding a revolver in a distinct Don fashion, thus promoting his appearance as Don.
Meanwhile, it is being reported that Kiara Advani may possibly replace Priyanka Chopra as the new Roma in Don 3. But there is no official announcement about the same.
Don 3: The Chase Ends will be released in theatres in 2025. For the unversed, the Don movie series has always been related to action thrillers with memorable stories. In Don 1 and 2, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Boman Irani played important roles.
Don 1 had won various accolades when it was released in 2006. Then in 2011, when Don 2 was released, it was also declared a hit. Actor Hrithik Roshan was noticed in a special appearance role in Don 2.
Farhan’s directorial was a remake of 1978’s Don, starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. However, the stories of both Don 1 and Don 2 were tweaked to a major level to make it exciting for the young audience.
