Ranveer Singh’s 83 release date moved to 2021

Coronavirus pandemic had caused to the total shutdown of theatres and cinema halls since the last eight months.

Now as theatres and cinema halls are reopening in many parts of the country and the entertainment industry is slowly trying to recover its business, the release dates of many movies are being pushed.

One of the movies that has its release date pushed to next year is Kabir Khan’s sports drama 83.

Featuring Ranveer Singh in the main role who enacts as former cricketer Kapil Dev, this is the second time that its released date has been delayed.

Earlier, the film was supposed to release in April 2020 but due to the pandemic, the release got pushed to Christmas 2020.

However, the production house Reliance Entertainment shared that it has various business reasons to decide that the film will release in theatres next year.

The film 83 will show the story of how Team India made history by conquering the ICC Cricket World Cup for the first time in 1983.

It will also see Deepika Padukone acting as Kapil Dev’s wife Romi. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu and Ammy Virk.
