Director David Dhawan lost his cool on Sara

Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan are all set to entertain y’all with their upcoming romantic comedy film, Coolie No. 1. For those living under the rock or missing out on this news for some reason, yes, it is a remake of the Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer film of the same name released back in 1995. David Dhawan who directed the first film had taken the remake as well. Now, Sara narrated one such incident wherein the director lost his cool on her and it was all because of her costar Varun. Yes, you read that right.

Recalling the incident, Sara told, “We were filming ‘Main Toh Raste Se’ when David sir got upset with me and shouted at me because, although I was ready for my shot, I was supposed to tag something on my costume and that was taking time. He was doing some costume business in the van and David sir got pretty upset at him as it was delaying the shoot.”

Sara told, “basically, he was angry at Varun but vented on me. That was a bit of an issue, but it is all good”. Meanwhile, Sara also addressed the question of having a lesser screen time as compared to Varun in the movie in an interview. Sara Ali Khan said, “When you’re working with people like Ranveer and Varun, aapki aukat nahin hoti (you are not in a position) to make such comparisons. You’re just thankful that people like Rohit, David sir, Ranveer or Varun are working with you. You just don’t want to compare these things.”
