Auto Desk – Toyota Innova Hycross has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 18.30 Lakh today. The MPV based on the Toyota Innova Crysta now gets a strong hybrid powertrain, much like the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Earlier, the MPV was launched in Toyota Innova Zenixin Indonesia.
The Toyota Innova has been in the market for two generations and this will be the third-generation model. The company launched the new Hycross with only an automatic gearbox option at prices going up to Rs 28.97 lakh.
2023 Toyota Innova Hycross
The Innova Hycross is 4,755 mm long, 1,850 mm wide, and 1,795 mm tall. The wheelbase tapes at 2,850 mm. The car is longer and wider than the outgoing model. It has a hexagonal radiator grille on the front, along with slim LED headlamps. The Hycross takes a premium approach.
The MPV gets seats for 7 or 8 occupants, depending on variants. For the first time, the MPV gets a panoramic sunroof.
Besides that, there is ambient lighting, faux wood finish, aluminum inserts, and quilted leather seats to aid the cabin. For safety, it has a lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and more.
Toyota offers 2 powertrain options on the Innova Hycross in Indonesia that is 2.0L hybrid and 2.0L non-hybrid.
However, there is no option for a manual gearbox on any variant.
