Auto Desk – Maruti Suzuki India will increase the prices of its vehicles from January 2022 and it will vary across the models.
In a statement Maruti said, they are planning to increase the price in January 2023, varying across models. But, did not state the quantum of price hikes across models.
Maruti Suzuki recorded domestic passenger vehicle (PV) volumes at 132,395 units in November, a rise of 20.66% y-o-y. For April-November FY23, the wholesale despatches of 1,067,282 units increased 31.47% y-o-y.
Currently, the company has 374,000 pending bookings, including 107,000 CNG Models and the highest pending bookings are for Ertiga, Brezza, and the Grand Vitara.
Also, Maruti offers CNG options with the Alto, Alto K10, S-Presso, WagonR, Eeco, Celerio, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, Baleno, XL6, Super Carry, and Tour S.
