Auto Desk – The country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp announced an increase in the prices of its motorcycles and scooters by up to Rs 1,500 from December 1.

The company sells motorcycles and scooters like Splendor+, HF Deluxe, HF 100, Passion Pro, Glamour, Xtreme 160R, Xpulse 200T, Pleasure+ XTEC, Maestro Edge 110, Maestro Edge 125 and Destini 125 XTEC.

The prices will go up by almost Rs 1,500, the exact quantum of increase will depend on the model and market.

Niranjan Gupta, the chief financial officer said, the prices of our motorcycles and scooters have been necessitated due to overall inflationary costs. The economic indicators are favorable to a growth in demand, and we expect industry volumes to pick up in the coming quarters.
