Auto Desk – CEAT Ltd launched a new range of all-terrain tyres for SUVs called CrossDrive. It offers a better grip as well as improved fuel efficiency. The tyre has been tested on the state-of-the-art auto-testing track ‘NATRAX’.
They also collaborated with OEMs like Mahindra to provide CrossDrive tyres for the Thar. The tyres range from 15-inch to 18-inch for the SUV segment to make it compatible with the new Mahindra Thar, Toyota Fortuner, Tata Harrier, Safari and more.
CrossDrive tyres are specifically designed for usage across all 4X2 and 4X4 types of SUVs and are available in various sizes.
Mr Arnab Banerjee, COO, of CEAT Tyres Ltd., said, “CrossDrive is one of our premium offerings in the all-terrain tyre segment for SUVs and will help our customers to conquer challenging and diverse terrains with safety”.
Additionally, CEAT plans to launch these tyres in the global markets and will focus more on the off-road specs for the European market. Also, the material will be different from that in the Indian market.
