Lucknow: After the cabinet reshuffle at the Centre in Modi government speculations are on rife that Yogi government too will follow suit in Uttar Pradesh. Cabinet expansion buzz is doing the round for a while in the state. Since there is hardly, six months left for Yogi Adityanath govt to do the social engineering in UP to please its allied and annoyed partners just before the UP assembly elections 2022 notification.
Speculations are at rife that around 6 new ministers to be inducted in the upcoming cabinet expansion of Yogi Adityanath government in UP. Modi govt has proved in its cabinet expansion that his govt is looking for inclusiveness regardless of caste and creed by inducting ample number of ministers from backward and OBC category. Same can be witnessed replicating in UP cabinet expansion also. But, special focus would be given to balance the cast equations before the upcoming elections. According to sources there is a strong buzz in the political circles of Lucknow that Jitin Prasad and Sanjay Nishad are the front runners for the cabinet berths in the prospective six new ministers likely to be inducted in Yogi cabinet.
NRIs send investment proposals to Yogi govt
Jitin Prasad a young face from Central UP will likely to get the berth. Since he is popular amongst Brahmin voters and conducting Brahmin sammelan across the state for Congress before joining BJP. Sanjay Nishad will be adjusted to garner Nishad votes which has got significant numbers in the state.
Meanwhile, some political activities have signaled about the likely expansion in the state. Recently, Uttar Pradesh state BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh and organization secretary Sunil Bansal had met BJP’s President JP Nadda in Delhi. On Friday, again Swatantra Dev Singh visited Delhi to meet party’s top brass.
The UP-Assembly elections 2022 is likely to be held in beginning of the year but like all parties BJP too is working to expand its vote base in UP.
However, the Yogi government cabinet expansion is on the cards for a long time.
