Anytime, anything can happen: Mamta calls Governor Dhankad

Nandigram: West Bengal is going to vote on Thursday for the assembly elections under the second phase, but there are reports of sporadic violence at many places here. Today, there is also a clash on the hotseat Nandigram of Bengal. There was a clash between Bharatiya Janata Party and Trinamool Congress workers outside a polling booth here, about which Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee called State Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar. Mamta has complained to them about these clashes. Mamta told him that ‘due to the presence of outsiders in the area here, the law and order is completely disturbed and anytime, anything can happen’.

Mamata Banerjee is pitted against her new rival Shubhendu Adhikari in Nandigram. The officer has been an MLA from here. He has been a big leader of TMC and has been a close associate of Mamta. Mamta has also accused the Election Commission of booth capturing here.
