Lucknow: Akhilesh Yadav has been failed as an Alliance leader till now. This time he has a bigger Alliance of all time, but the question is that will he be able to lead it? The situation says history will repeat itself but the time demands to create a new path.
Samajwadi party chief Akhilesh Yadav tried to Alliance with Congress in Uttar Pradesh just before 2017 elections. At that time Congress was leading its campaign under the guidance of political strategist, Prashant Kishore. The campaign was at its peak when both of the party decided to tie the knot. They went togather in elections but failef to get the result as they expected. Samajwadi Party was just bundled under 50 seats and Congress also went to all time low by getting only 7 seats in the UP Legislative Assembly. Soon after the elections, Akhilesh Yadav made the distance with Congress. After the results he never looked towards Congress.

Just after 2 years, there were the elections of Lok Sabha. Akhilesh Yadav tried another Alliance with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). His father, Mulayam Singh Yadav, had also tried it in 1993. Mulayam was successful and he became CM at that time. Whereas, Akhilesh was not so much successful but he was able to increase the seats of Loksabha from 5 to 9 in comparison to 2014. This time too, Akhilesh Yadav never tried to be with Mayawati after 2019 elections. Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav have separated their paths.
All forces choose to be separated
The result of the happenings after 2017 and 2019, all the opposition parties choose their way to be separated with Akhilesh Yadav. In the 2022 Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh election Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj party, and Congress all contested separately. As a result, BJP to continued to be ruling party, whereas Samajwadi Party turned to be main opposition as previously. Congress limited to just only 2 seat where as BSP mannaged to get only one.

Problems with Akhilesh continues
Just before the 2022 elections, Akhilesh Yadav tried to make a bigger Alliance of all time he tried before. He was in an Alliance to his uncle shivpal Yadav, SBSP, Apna Dal Kameravadi and RLD. The alliance partners were in expectation that the results will make BJP out of rule. Unfortunately it didn’t happen and the impressions of it is seen over the alliance understandings. When Akhilesh Yadav called the meeting of his Alliance partners, then Shivpal Yadav was absent and there was the absence of Pallavi Patel too. Will RLD be with Akhilesh’s SP, till 2024 Loksabha elections, is also a big question. As RLD wasn’t able to retain it’s votebank fully in 2022. Till now Akhilesh Yadav haven’t tried all to keep his Alliance partners fully with him. This will lead to a big question over his leadership. If Akhilesh fails, then the alliance politics of him will be in questions for all time.
