Bengaluru: A 76-year-old elderly man who died on Tuesday in Kalburgi, Karnataka, has been confirmed to be infected with corona.
The man named Mohammad Hussain Siddiqui was killed in Kalburgi on Tuesday and authorities suspected that his life had died due to Corona virus. Now Siddiqui’s sample has confirmed that he was infected with Corona virus and died in the meantime. He recently returned from Saudi Arabia. However, the Union Health Ministry has not yet confirmed whether the elderly person died of corona or due to some other reason.
According to the Commissioner of Health Department of Karnataka, 76-year-old Siddiqui has been confirmed to be infected with corona after examining the sample. Now the Health Department is ascertaining how many people the said person came in contact with. Apart from this, the Telangana government has also been informed that Siddiqui was infected with Corona. Authorities have come to know that Siddiqui had also gone to a hospital in Telangana for treatment.
