Sonbhadra (UP): A woman and two others died after the bike on which they were travelling collided head-on with a truck near Chaupania village under Chopan police station in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, the police said.
According to station house officer Lakshman Parvat, those who have lost their lives in the accident were identified as 25-year-old Manjuddin Ansari, 27-year-old Ishtiyak Ansari and 30-year-old Gulabi. They were travelling to their village on a motorcycle. Just as the bike neared Chaupania village, a truck coming from the opposite direction hit the motorcycle. The bike riders died on the spot. The truck driver escaped, Parvat said, adding that the police were searching for the truck driver.
