Uttar Pradesh News: Two cops on bike hit stray bull, one dies

Barabanki: A stray bull has led to the death of a cop returning after admitting an injured man to a hospital in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh, sources in the police department say. According to reports, the incident occurred on Sunday when two police constables Raj Kumar Pandey and Jayash Ram were returning home after admitting the injured man to a hospital.

When both Pandey and Ram were returning home, their bike collided with a stray bull. Both of them sustained injuries in the accident and were sent to a hospital, but Pandey died during treatment.

Additional superintendent of police Poornendu Singh said two youths 25-year-old Suyash and 26-year-old Alok were injured in a brawl on Saturday night when two groups of students of a private university fought over some petty issues outside an eatery near the institution.

He further said that Syuash had an enmity with a group of students of the university, and they got into an altercation which turned into a brawl after a cultural event on the campus.
