Varanasi: Three Kanwariyas lost their lives and three sustained injuries in an accident on the Prayagraj-Varanasi highway on Monday. The accident occurred when two bikes collided. The injured were sent to hospital, the police said, adding that they were trying to identify the three Kanwariyas.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath mourned the death of the Kanwariyas and directed the officials of the district administration to provide medical facilities for the injured. This was the third incident in a row in which Kanwariyas died.
