Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government led by Yogi Adityanath has decided to boost ambulance services, official sources said on Tuesday. Adityanath has asked the officials to provide ambulance services in every nook in the state.
The government also asked the district magistrates to keep a watch on ambulance operations. According to the plan, if someone suddenly dies for want of an ambulance, action will be taken against those found guilty of failing to provide it. The government has directed the officials to ensure that patients and their family members do not suffer.

According to an official release, the chief minister has asked the officials to improve the response time of the ambulances. Most of the ambulances are equipped with all life-saving equipment to give first aid to the children till they reach the hospital. Aside from that, the employees assigned ambulance duty have been trained so that they may be sensitive to the patients.
