Kaushambi (UP): A 22-year-old biker was killed and two were injured in Kokhraj area in the district on Saturday when the bike they were riding collided head-on with a truck, the police said. The incident occurred when the bike rider tried to negotiate a turn on Manjhanpur road. The youth who died in the accident was identified as Shubham Kumar died on the spot. Two others, Rahul Patel and Gyan Singh were rushed to hospital.
The incident occurred when the trio was going from Kunda in Pratapgarh to Kaushambi, the police said. The truck driver ran away after the accident.
