New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) tore into Manish Sisodia for his false allegations that a legal adviser of the agency Jitendra Kumar committed suicide as he was asked to frame Sisodia in connection with the liquor scam. Sisodia made the statement at a press conference. The probe agency said that he made a mischievous attempt. The probe agency strongly refuted Sosodia’s statement, saying that the late Kumar was in no way connected with investigation into the case.

The CBI further said that Kumar was a deputy legal advisor in-charge of prosecution and he was supervising prosecutors who were conducting the trial of the charge-sheeted cases in Delhi. The Delhi police are probing the death of Kumar.
