New Delhi. Yusuf Pathan announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. Yusuf Pathan was such a player that when he was in form, he had the ability to turn any match. Pathan’s emphatic century against New Zealand in 2010 cannot be forgotten. After nearly two decades of his cricketing career, Yusuf Pathan announced his retirement. Yusuf Pathan has played the 2007 T20 World Cup, and the 2011 ODI World Cup for India. In an interview, Yusuf Pathan said that I am very happy that I played for Team India and I do not regret anything in my career.

Yusuf Pathan said that I have been able to reach here because of the good wishes of my family and fans. There were many good moments in my life, I won many trophies. So I feel proud that from where I started my career and reached this great chapter in my life, I want to thank everyone. Regarding his retirement, Pathan said that the decision to retire is not taken suddenly.

Pathan said that for the last one year I was thinking about retirement, I was also thinking about what other option I will have when I finish my cricket career. My family and my brother suggested me about this. I also spoke with senior players who have been close to me in my cricket career, they suggested to me what I can do in my future career.
