New Delhi: It is not a one-day cricket match. Nor is it a T-20 game. Yet it is a well-planned Test match between the Central Government and the Congress. As the sleuths of Enforcement Directorate were grilling Rahul Gandhi in connection with the National Herald case for the third day in a row on Wednesday, the party workers and leaders were protesting outside ED office. Inside the ED office, as Rahul was replying to the bouncers of Ed sleuths with hooks and cuts, outside the party workers were raising slogans against the Central Government. And the Delhi Police continued to detain the party workers.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday reached ED office to join the investigation. Rahul Gandhi was questioned for about 18 hours in the past two days. A three-member team is recording his statement. Although ED questioned Rahul Gandhi till 10pm on Tuesday, he left ED headquarters at around 11.45pm. It is, however, not known how long Rahul’s grilling will continue. On the one hand, a Congress leader said, “It may continue till the Gujarat elections are held.” On the other hand, BJP leaders said the Congress was doing a big drama over the issue.
