Lucknow: Buoyed by the resounding win and PM”s vision. UP’s Yogi Aditynath 2.0 government has under the aegis of Deputy CM of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya, the Rural Development Department has set an ambitious target of completing 1 lakh PM Awas Yojana houses in rural areas within the first 100 days, while about 8200 houses Mukhyamantri Awas Yojna houses too will be constructed in the same period.
DY CM KP Maurya said that all the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme to be approved for the year 2022-23 will also be registered. Under the State Rural Livelihood Mission, 50 thousand new self-help groups will be formed and Rs 400 crore financial assistance will be provided to 80 thousand self-help groups.

Along with this, a target has also been set to form 100 producer groups. He informed that the process of setting up 200 nutritional manufacturing units in the state would be completed; so that the supply of nutritious food would be available in 600 development blocks.
Females to get benefited: Maurya told that in the same period the target of 58000 BC Sakhi will be also be fulfilled. Under the women empowerment scheme, the scheme will be started in five clusters. Under MNREGA, 15 thousand women mates will be selected and trained and associated with MNREGA works.
Five thousand kilometers of roads will be built: Under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Phase-III, 19 thousand kilometers of approved roads are to be built. 15 thousand crore rupees are to be spent on this. In relation to this, the construction of five thousand kilometers of roads will be completed. In the same period 2800 km of roads will be maintained. 12 hundred crores will be spent on this.

61 rivers will be revived under MNREGA: The Deputy Chief Minister said that the restoration work on selected 61 rivers will be started under MNREGA. Under the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Rurban Mission, 197 projects will be completed. Under Deendayal Upadhyay State Rural Development Institute, 300 training sessions will be organized and 15 thousand beneficiaries, officers and employees of the departmental scheme will be trained.
Sports grounds will be built in 2600 gram panchayats: Under MNREGA, the construction work of playgrounds will be started in 2600 gram panchayats of the state. Renovation work of 6000 ponds and 150 hi-tech nurseries will be set up to facilitate greenery in the villages to expand the green cover in the state.
