He was a Jack and Master of all trades because he was and Indian playback singer, actor, music director, lyricist, writer, director, producer and screenwriter.
He could sing any song, be it soft, romantic, emotional, peppy, party tracks etc.
He gave voice to songs in many Indian languages including Bengali, Marathi, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Bhojpuri, Malayalam and Urdu.
His last unreleased song was sold for 1.56 million in an auction in New Delhi in 2012. Such is his craze even today.
