InternationalCharlie Kirk Murder Case: Suspect Allegedly Confessed in Texts to Partner

Date:

International Desk – Court documents have revealed shocking details in the case of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s murder. Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, was shot dead while speaking at Utah Valley University last week.

Confession in Text Messages

The accused, Tyler Robinson (22), allegedly confessed to the killing in a series of text messages to his transgender partner shortly after the incident.

Robinson wrote: “I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.”

He admitted that he had been planning the shooting for over a week.

In another text, he said: “I am, I’m sorry,” when asked directly by his partner if he was the one behind Kirk’s murder.

He also told his partner to delete their messages and avoid speaking to police or media.

Notes and Evidence Found

Investigators found handwritten notes where Robinson wrote about his plan to “take out Charlie Kirk.”

Police recovered a rifle wrapped in a towel and shell casings with unique etchings matching those used in the attack.

Several bullet-marked targets were found at Robinson’s residence.

Authorities have not confirmed a clear motive, but Robinson’s texts suggest he believed Kirk spread “hatred.” His family told investigators that in the past year Robinson became more supportive of LGBTQ+ rights, influenced by his relationship with his transgender partner.

Robinson was arrested last Thursday near St. George, Utah, after his family persuaded him to surrender with the help of a retired sheriff’s deputy. He faces multiple charges including:

Murder

Felony discharge of a firearm (up to life in prison)

Obstructing justice (up to 15 years)

Witness tampering

The murder has intensified political debate in the U.S. President Donald Trump and his allies have condemned it as an example of growing political violence against conservatives.

The FBI is probing a Discord chatroom where Robinson allegedly discussed his views with over 20 people. Agents are investigating whether the crime was part of a broader pattern of extremist violence.
